“What is essential is invisible to the eye”

– “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly” – Have you ever by any chance seen the animated movie, “The Little Prince”? It is made after a famous french book. I think you would like it.  There is a thread, a theme that touches every one of us deep in our soul. No matter how old we are, or how “important” we are in the world, there is a part of each of us that just wants to be a child. The world wants to make us forget, to just “grow up already”. From childhood we are

My Skeleton Sweatshirt

– Dry bones – So the other day my dad got me this crazy sweat shirt with a glow in the dark skeleton on the front (because I mean, really, what girl doesn’t dream of getting a sweat shirt with a glow in the dark skeleton on it:))? Actually, my daddy always knows the perfect thing to get me and how to make me laugh with some crazy thing no-one else would think of! But anyway, the sweatshirt made us think of the passage in the book of Ezekiel 37. Have you ever read it? God led Ezekiel to a

The Line of Totality

– Totality – Just a quick thought for you today:). It was really cool to see the solar eclipse. Did you get a chance to see it? My family and I were able to minister the Gospel during the event because there was a viewing party where large crowds had gathered. We borrowed some glasses so we could see it good. Even though we were not in the line of totality, it was cool to see how the temperature dropped and it got darker in the middle of the day. The news and newspapers talked so much about the, “Line

Something Good To Happen

– Something Good – Sometimes the last thought at the end of the day, or the first thought in the morning to some extent, holds the words, “maybe something good will happen to me today…maybe tomorrow “. Sometimes its just a passing thought barely processed and sometimes it becomes a solid block of thought that consumes our mind for a while. From spending time with people that suffer, especially prisoners, so many tell me that they constantly think and hope that maybe, just maybe today something good will happen. Maybe they will get a visitor, maybe their lawyer will have

My brothers and sisters and I got the chance to run an obstacle type race. We volunteered one day so we didn’t have to pay to enter, it worked out great:) Over 8 miles, around every corner there was a different obstacle. From running through a river, crawling under barbed wire, jumping over walls, doing monkey bars or carrying heavy things up mountains (I know, what sane person would choose to do this;)). We had a blast and it was a great way to train and stay in shape. I even sunk a spear into a target first try:) (Totally

Touching Asia – 2017

– Don’t Ever Give Up –    No te rindas. Não desista. あきらめないでください. 포기 하지마. 不要放弃.  Huwag Susuko. Don’t  Give Up As well as continuing our work in South America and the U.S, we also want to touch Africa, Australia, Eastern Europe and Asia and are praying for the Lords leading and provision. Recently, we were able to find inexpensive plane tickets and save up enough to take a trip to Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan, Manilla in the Philippines and Shanghai, China. These are among the largest cities in the world and it was an absolutely incredible trip. We touched so many people from all walks

South America – Brazil – Blog 2016

– We may not be able to choose how we die, but we certainly can choose how we live. – Isn’t hope a beautiful thing? It is as the dawn to a cold night, as the rain to a dry land and as tinder that can spark a fire to flame. In this cold, dark world, it is hope, hope for what we do not see, that gives us breath, gives us life and in fact saves us (Rm.8:24). With a word, a touch, an act to care, you can plant a seed of hope in the heart of another

Do

History was not written by men and women who thought good thoughts or spoke fine words, but rather by those that took thoughts and turned them into great actions. The names you remember were the ones that defined their own lives with deeds.  The fifth book of the Bible is not called the book of words or the book of thoughts, but the book of Acts (actions). When a dead man walked out of a grave, those that knew Him were fused with the energy to LIVE, to GO and to DO (Acts.4:32).  Faith is only proven to be true, if
